Registration instructions for Lone Star Presidents-Elect Training Seminar

The registration process for LSPETS is done completely on-line using credit card payment, no forms to mail, no checks to write.  Here are some things you should understand before beginning the registration process:

  • Credit Card Payment:

    • Because of the size and complexity of this venue, all registrations require a credit card payment to complete the process. This assures the complete security of all transactions, as all credit card information is submitted and processed using state of the art security practices.

    • This method also allows us to process all registrations Real-Time, which gives us and each registrant instant confirmation and instant updates of all data submitted.

    • Reports are generated automatically, enabling individuals who register and LSPETS facilitators instant access to the information.

  • The Registration Form:

    • Is user-friendly, in that it fills in some data automatically and calculates the amount of the fee for you.

    • In addition, when the registration form is submitted, it pulls up a confirmation page with the information that has been submitted to the database.  Please print this confirmation page before processing your credit card payment, as the page will no longer be available to you afterwards. (Note:  You can ask for a copy of the submitted data at any time by contacting the registrar)

    • One form is used to register all LSPETS participants, including Incoming club presidents, & assistant governors, all district governors, facilitators, operating personnel, and Sgt-at-arms.

    • Do not use the return key to move to the next step or field!  You must use the mouse to move from field to field. The form cannot be submitted more than once, so take your time, fill in the required fields and then click the "Submit" button.

    • If you have any problems you must contact the registrar who will guide you thru the process or help you process a credit card payment, etc.

    • Four things are required on each form in order for it to submit at all:

      • Club

      • Position/Office

      • First name

      • Last name

    • BE AWARE THAT SOME COMPANY & HOME NETWORKS RUN "HIGH-SECURITY" BROWSER SETTINGS WHICH MAY CAUSE PROBLEMS DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS.

      The REGISTRATION FORM for the LSPETS registration uses "Java Script" & "visual Basic" code to enhance the functionality of the registration form and the data collection process. The scripts are completely safe and are not used to collect information about you, or to put anything on your computer. They will not harm your computer. They are used to collect and post your district number and club name to the database. They are used to "enable" certain sections of the form, to convert text to proper case, and they are used to calculate and display the totals as you make your selections. You will be given a choice to pay by credit card or check. If you wish to pay with a credit card, please check the credit card option, before you submit the form. If your browser security setting is set to "High", your browser security setting should be temporarily set to  "Medium", and be sure your browser settings must have "SCRIPTS ENABLED". If this is not done the registration form may not function properly.
